Hero Point Options
Since they can be earned inside and outside of game, players only lose
hero points when a character dies.
Players can only spend hero points 1/day and at that time they can choose to expend
any amount of hero points.
Players may choose to use these abilities on others. If they are choosing to use a
hero point on someone else they must be within 30ft. Declare that they are using the
hero point as an immediate action. Then the effect will be halved but applied to the
character.
Hero points may be earned by smart gameplay/decision making, good rolepaly. Helping DM
out of game, and going the extra mile to help others. Also you can only have 4 hero
points at any given time. If you gain more than 4 hero points anything after 4 is
wasted. Lastly hero points are gained each level.
Hero points may be used for the following:
Resilience
Expend one hero point to gain a +2 untyped bonus to a saving throw. Player may choose
to expend an extra hero points to gain an additional +1 thereafter. A player may only
spend these points before he rolls the save.
Epiphany
Character gains a flash of insight allowing him to gain a +2 untyped bonus to any
skillcheck(Including knowledges).Player may choose to expend an extra hero points
to gain an additional +1 thereafter. A player may only spend these points before he
rolls the save.
Undying
A character that is dealt a killing blow may spend 3 hero points to cheat death. This
allows the player to go to the lowest possiable negative hp and become stablized.
Unleashed Rage
The overwhelming sense of bloodlust overtakes you as you attack your foe. This allows
the character to gain +2 to hit with an attack roll, also +1 dmg with that attack
roll.
Saturated Arcana
A caster may choose to spend 1 hero point to gain a +2 untyped bonus to overcome Spell
Resistance. They may also expend any amount thereafter to gain an additional +1 bonus.
Divinity
When casting a healing spell the player may choose to expend 2 hero points. They must
declare they are using this before they cast the spell. Upon doing so they gain their
character level 1/2 as bonus healing. Example 5th level cleric casts Cure Light Wounds
which heals for 1d8+5. His healing would go to 1d8+7 after using this skill.
Second Chance
Upon leveling up a character may forgo his hero point for that level. When doing this the character may reroll
his hitdice and take the higher of the two rolls.
